Luleå, Sweden is set to host 19 lunchtime performances this summer as part of the annual Sommarmusiken festival, running from June 8th to July 3rd. The event will feature a diverse range of musical acts, offering a platform for both established and emerging artists.
“At each performance, you’ll discover something different, and we always aim for as broad a selection as possible,” says Jessica Hedberg, project manager for the Luleå municipality. “Musicians and artists of all ages and from all genres are warmly welcome to apply.”
Apply No Later Than April 26th
Interested musicians can submit their applications until April 26th, after which a selection process will take place to curate a vibrant musical lineup for residents and visitors alike. The festival’s growing popularity underscores Sweden’s thriving music scene.
“To make it easier for everyone to apply, we’ve moved the application process to the Luleå municipality’s website this year. No complicated logins or passwords to keep track of,” Hedberg added.
