The marriage of Polish footballer Maciej Rybus and Lana Bajmatova has concluded after years of public interest. The pair’s relationship blossomed quickly, leading to marriage and a family, but recent reports confirm the couple finalized their divorce at the end of 2025.
Rybus first met his future wife in 2017, and a swift romance followed. Engagement came within months, with the couple planning a wedding that took place in Russia in March 2018. Visa issues prevented close family members from attending the initial ceremony.

A second celebration was later held in Poland the following year. The family expanded as well, welcoming their first son, Robert, in October 2018, and a second son, Adrian, in January 2021.
The situation became more complex following the outbreak of war in Ukraine. Rybus made the decision to remain in Russia, citing family reasons. This choice had significant repercussions for his career, as he lost his place on the Polish national team.
Rumors of trouble in the marriage began circulating in late 2024, when Bajmatova removed most of their joint photos from her Instagram account. Speculation mounted, and Russian media later confirmed the couple was officially divorced by the end of 2025. Reports indicate that Bajmatova initiated the divorce proceedings and filed for division of assets.
Bajmatova is now focusing on her private life and raising their two sons. She regularly posts updates on social media, recently sharing family photos taken in North Ossetia with the caption, “One beautiful day.”
