Mélanie and Vincent are continuing to enjoy their blossoming romance, with Mélanie recently spending a night at Vincent’s home, accompanied by his dog, Chibi, while other couples from the show continue their honeymoon journeys.
A scare for Cindy and Gaël
Last week’s episode ended with uncertainty surrounding Cindy’s health after she was accidentally pushed by her husband toward the edge of the pool.
“The doctor’s conclusion is that, fortunately, it’s not a major open fracture of the sternum, but it’s likely several micro-fractures,” the candidate explained on camera.
Cindy isn’t holding a grudge against her husband and reunited with him to finish the evening over a private dinner, where humor prevailed. As Gaël pointed out, this is their way of communicating.
Like when he let her know they’re sleeping far apart. “Between us, it’s No Man’s Land, the border between North and South Korea,” the groom joked. He even added that he requested a change to a junior-sized bed.
“My decision is made”: is this already the end for a couple on “Married at First Sight”?
Alyssa a little annoyed
Meanwhile, Alyssa and Romain are experiencing their first real moments together. During a trip to Corsica, the couple decided to go for a hike. But while Alyssa focused on the effort and caught her breath, Romain couldn’t resist speaking his mind. “When does a pond develop into a lake?” he asked.
Questions went unanswered and Romain continued. “I see she’s answering less, but that doesn’t bother me, so I continue,” he even explained.
This somewhat unsettled Alyssa, who tried her best to continue climbing the hill. “You talk too much,” she finally told him after a well-deserved break. When he said he wasn’t tired enough to talk less, she asked, “What do I have to do to make you tired?”
Although Alyssa says she’s taking it lightly, she admits it could become irritating over time. Feeling tired and needing to recharge, she was more reserved during the evening, which in turn, disturbed her husband. It’s proving difficult for the young couple to find a common rhythm. The show’s exploration of relationship dynamics continues to resonate with audiences.
“What, the thing where we finally hooked up?”: doubts and rapprochements in “Married at First Sight”
The friendzone confirmed for Antonio and Romain
Finally, after Antonio confided to Romain that he had categorized their relationship as “friendzone,” the beginning of the episode offered novel hope for a positive evolution of the couple. The two men discovered a video of the experts explaining the many commonalities between them and the reasons for their 80.2% compatibility.
But in the final minutes, another argument between them cooled the hopes of viewers who were still hoping to see a rapprochement between the two young men.
At the table, as Romain tried to understand why his husband had “classified” him in that category, Antonio admitted that even though he doesn’t want to change him, he doesn’t agree with certain aspects of his personality. He mentioned the nail polish or his makeup. “Normally, you’re not the kind of guy I would have turned around for,” he explained, adding, “When you say you’re a hairdresser… I’m not a hairdresser, I’m a hair stylist, you understand. Talking about you in the feminine, I can’t do it.”
Visibly hurt by these words, Romain retorted, “You know what, I think I’m more of a man than you are, actually.” He then explained on camera, “It’s true that I wear makeup, that I wear sequined shirts, but that doesn’t mean I’m not a man.” Unable to understand each other, Antonio ended up leaving the table, also ending the episode.
Will they be able to resume the dialogue? How will Sarah and Benjamin’s trip to Albania go? Will Alyssa and Romain finally find the same rhythm? Find out next Sunday.
