Levski showcased the first hours of new signing Marko Dugandžić at “Gerena” stadium. The Croatian forward watched Monday’s 1-0 victory over Lokomotiv Plovdiv, and told the club’s camera that every match from now on this season will be a tough test for the Blues. He also reflected on his time at CFR Cluj, where he was a teammate with Kristian Dimitrov.
“I was at the stadium against Lokomotiv Plovdiv. It was a difficult match. Every team wants to beat the best team in the league. Every match will be tough, but we took the three points, which is the most important thing at the moment, and we continue,” Dugandžić stated.
“I know that Levski is the biggest club in Bulgaria and one of the biggest in the Balkans. They have many trophies, many matches in Europe. I am particularly happy to be here.”
The new Levski striker also commented on Kristian Dimitrov, with whom he shared a locker room at Romanian side CFR Cluj: “We are good friends. We won the championship together in Romania. He is an incredible person and a very good player. I haven’t had time to see him yet, but that will happen these days.”
Dugandžić also addressed the Levski fans: “Let’s do great things together. I’ve already seen how much they support the team, and that’s what we need.”
