The popular Facebook Messenger application will be discontinued, with the web version of the chat application later rebranded simply as Messenger.com. Meta, the developer, is informing visitors to the site with a system message stating:
Messenger.com will no longer be available after April 15, 2026.
The company notes that only the web version will be phased out and users will be able to continue their conversations on the mobile application or Facebook.
