Met Season 2: New Modes, Weapons & Mastery System Revealed

A latest season for the game introduces two new modes designed to challenge players’ skills. Solo Mode, a player-versus-environment (PvE) experience, tasks players with defeating as many “Yuckies” as possible. Duo Mode also focuses on PvE gameplay, but allows for cooperative play with a second player. The game dynamically adjusts difficulty in both modes, altering enemy types and their locations to maintain a challenging experience.

Alongside the new modes, three new weapons are being added to the game. The “Shield” provides defensive capabilities, even against damage types normally considered impervious. The “Vampiric Tree” is an offensive weapon capable of inflicting curses on enemies.

Perhaps the most unusual addition is the “Dekotora,” a weapon constructed from a truck, incorporating elements of its design into its moveset, including a three-level charging attack.

The update also includes a range of new cosmetic items, some of which are exclusive rewards for defeating the final boss. A lock-on feature has been implemented, and Elite enemies now have a more menacing appearance with glowing eyes. Further enhancements include a new Mastery system, improved daily quests, and an increased number of crafting slots.

The addition of these features aims to reinvigorate the game and draw players back into its unique world. This update highlights the ongoing development and refinement of the game’s core mechanics and content offerings.
