Welcome to live coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina.
France is gaining momentum at these Games and will look to build on its success Saturday. Six-time world champion Perrine Laffont will compete in the qualification round of the women’s moguls. In men’s alpine skiing, Alban Elezi Cannaferina and Léo Anguenot will vie for a medal in the giant slalom. Meanwhile, biathlon stars Julia Simon and Lou Jeanmonnot, fresh off gold and silver medals in the individual event, will aim for another top finish in the women’s sprint.
The moguls competition will take place in Livigno (Lombardy), the giant slalom in Bormio (Lombardy), and the biathlon in Anterselva (Trentino-Alto Adige).
The first run of the giant slalom is scheduled for 10:00 AM (with the second run at 1:30 PM). The round of sixteen for moguls is set for 10:30 AM (final at 11:48 AM), and the French biathletes will begin their sprint at 2:45 PM.
Coverage will be available on France Télévisions and Eurosport.
Louis Chahuneau, Vincent Marcelin, and Célien Milioni-Brunet will be providing live commentary from the Austerlitz chalet.
And finally, we won’t be discussing the “no shoes” trend originating in Silicon Valley, which encourages employees to come to operate in socks, slippers, or sandals – a relaxed approach that blurs the lines between professional and personal life.
