Millwall has been fined £45,000 (approximately $60,448 USD) by the English Football Association for abusive chants during their League Cup match against Crystal Palace on September 26, 2025.

The League One club accepted the charge that a section of its supporters engaged in offensive behavior, specifically chanting “disabled people in South London,” a discriminatory slur targeting individuals with disabilities. In a statement, Millwall said: “This chant is completely at odds with all the values and principles that the club represents and we condemn it in the strongest possible terms.”
