Polish dairy cooperative Mlekpol is participating in the FOODEX JAPAN 2026 trade show, a key event for the food industry in Asia, held from March 10-13 in Tokyo.
The company is showcasing its dairy products at the Poland Tastes Solid national pavilion within Tokyo Big Sight. This participation underscores Mlekpol’s strategy to diversify its export markets and capitalize on growing demand for dairy in the Asian region.
FOODEX JAPAN, with a 50-year history, brings together producers, distributors, and buyers from around the globe. The event attracts thousands of representatives from the gastronomy, distribution, and international trade sectors, serving as a crucial platform for establishing business contacts and exploring collaboration opportunities in rapidly developing Asian markets.
Mlekpol is presenting a selection of its product portfolio, including Mlekpol brand cheeses, Łaciate butter and UHT milk, products from the Happy Barn and Milcasa brands, Łaciata UHT cream, and Łaciate cream cheese. The company’s presence is organized by the Krajowy Ośrodek Wsparcia Rolnictwa (KOWR).
“Asia is one of the sales directions that we are consistently developing. Countries in this region are characterized by growing demand for dairy products, and FOODEX JAPAN is an excellent opportunity to talk with business partners and present our portfolio to a wide range of customers from across the continent,” said Tomasz Trzaska, Foreign Trade Department Director at Mlekpol.
Currently, Mlekpol exports its products to over 100 countries on six continents. The company’s continued expansion into Asian markets reflects a broader trend of Polish food producers seeking international growth opportunities.
