“Generally, there aren’t many men who say, ‘I don’t wish to’ right now.”

Monica discussed the topic of one-night stands during a conversation with her co-host and close friend, Kaj Gorgels. She stated she has no personal experience with them, explaining, “I can’t imagine going home with someone you don’t really know, or with whom you don’t have a romantic connection.”

For Monica, such an encounter represents a significant level of intimacy. “I find sleeping together to be very intimate. You really do that with someone you think, okay, I trust you and I perceive good with you,” she said. She also mentioned that she doesn’t necessarily expect someone to leave immediately after a night together. “I’m also the type of person who makes breakfast in the morning, a fruit platter.”

Kissing, however, is acceptable to Monica. “Kissing someone in a club is not a precursor to going home with them for me,” she explained. “I think men might see it differently.”

The presenter also finds many aspects of sex to be daunting. She admitted that “taking initiative is already quite difficult” in the bedroom, adding, “And if I do and get rejected, that would really destroy my self-confidence.”

Despite these reservations, Monica believes women can more easily have sex when they want to. “Generally, there aren’t many men who say, ‘I don’t want to’ right now,” she said with a laugh. “Every woman can always have sex, any time of day.” She stated she has never been turned down in that regard.

Monica is also open about other personal experiences. She recently shared a video of her colon cleanse with her followers. The video can be viewed here.

A recent discussion between media personalities Monica and Kaj Gorgels touched on attitudes toward casual encounters and sexual dynamics. The conversation, which has gained traction online, highlights differing perspectives on intimacy and consent.

Monica emphasized the importance of trust and emotional connection before physical intimacy, stating, “I find sleeping together to be very intimate. You really do that with someone you think, okay, I trust you and I feel good with you.” This perspective underscores a growing trend toward prioritizing emotional well-being and boundaries in relationships.

The discussion also revealed Monica’s anxieties surrounding initiating sexual encounters, expressing concern about potential rejection. However, she also offered a candid observation about perceived power dynamics, noting, “Every woman can always have sex, any time of day.” This statement sparked conversation about societal expectations and agency in sexual relationships.

Beyond the discussion of intimacy, Monica also shared a personal experience with her audience, documenting a colon cleanse. The willingness to share such personal details reflects a broader trend of influencers using social media to normalize conversations around health and wellness. You can find the video on TikTok.

Kaj Gorgels also appeared in a previous MTV Sit Down segment discussing one-night stands, privacy, and other topics. More information can be found on YouTube.
