Montholier: Deputy Dodane Eyes Mayoral Race

Montholier is seeing a shift in local politics as Ghislaine Dodane, currently serving as first deputy mayor, sets her sights on the mayoral position.

On June 1, 2019, Mayor Capron and Ghislaine Dodane officiated a marriage ceremony for Alexandre Dechaume and Pauline Gollion. The ceremony was held in the town hall, which proved too small to accommodate all the family and friends who wished to attend. Alexandre Dechaume is an agent of production and the son of Robert Dechaume and Évelyne Crolet. Pauline Gollion, the daughter of Jacques Gollion, an agent of maîtrise and Babeth Grillot, a responsible administrative and financial officer, resides in Tourmont with her family.

The couple, who currently reside in Montholier, exchanged vows in front of a large gathering. This event underscores the importance of community milestones in local French life.

In a separate ceremony on October 27, 2018, Josiane Scarabotto, deputy mayor, assisted by Ghislaine Dodane, councilor, united Aurélie Comparon and Yoann Mourat in marriage. Aurélie Comparon, born on June 11, 1991, in Lons-le-Saunier, works as an aide-soignante. She is the daughter of Denis Comparon and Odile Folle. Yoann Mourat, born on July 26, 1990, in Dole, is a sapeur-pompier de Paris and the son of Patrice André Mourat and Sylviane Geneviève Hintzy.

These local celebrations highlight the ongoing fabric of community life in the Jura region.
