MSI has launched a limited-edition graphics card in Indonesia, the result of a collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment. The MSI x World of Warcraft: Midnight GeForce RTX 5070 is available in two distinct designs: a Light Edition and a Void Edition.
The collaboration brings together MSI’s engineering expertise with the iconic fantasy world of Blizzard’s World of Warcraft. The graphics card’s design takes inspiration from the upcoming World of Warcraft: Midnight chapter, which centers on the return to the elven lands of Quel’Thalas. This partnership highlights the growing trend of collaborations between tech companies and entertainment franchises to appeal to dedicated fanbases.
Unveiled at an MSI Media Iftar event in Jakarta, the Void Edition features a dark blue color scheme with gold accents, representing the power of the Void – or “darkness” – within the World of Warcraft universe. Conversely, the Light Edition boasts a gold color scheme accented with dark blue, symbolizing the power of Light – or “light.”
Regardless of the chosen design, the MSI x World of Warcraft: Midnight GeForce RTX 5070 incorporates MSI’s latest TRI FROZR 4 thermal system. The company claims this system delivers efficient cooling, minimal noise, and stable performance during intensive gaming sessions.
The card’s hardware specifications include 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM with speeds up to 28 Gbps and a 192-bit bus. Connectivity options include 3x DisplayPort (v2.1b) and 1x HDMI 2.1b, utilizing a PCIe Gen 5 interface.
The MSI x World of Warcraft: Midnight GeForce RTX 5070 is currently available for around IDR 14 million (approximately $900 USD as of March 13, 2026) through various e-commerce platforms and online retailers.
