NAC Breda supporters showed their passion for the club, awaiting the team’s bus at the Rat Verlegh Stadion, whereas the team itself has reaffirmed its confidence in manager Carl Hoefkens despite a recent string of challenging results.

Approximately 150 fans gathered to greet the players, expressing their support and, reportedly, questioning the team’s recent performance, according to BN DeStem.

Despite a recent 3-0 defeat against Travel Ahead Eagles on March 15, 2026, which prompted the club to reimburse ticket costs to fans, De Telegraaf reports that NAC has publicly stated its continued support for Hoefkens.

Hoefkens, a former Belgian international and current manager of NAC Breda, took the helm with the aim of steering the club towards a successful season in the Eredivisie. He previously managed Club Brugge and Standard Liège.

The team’s recent form has been inconsistent, as evidenced by a heavy defeat to Go Ahead Eagles, where a hat-trick from Breum contributed to a 3-0 scoreline, as detailed by NU.

Further scrutiny of the club’s performance has been highlighted by AD.nl, which published a report detailing several areas of concern within the team.

The club’s gesture of refunding tickets following the loss to Go Ahead Eagles, as reported by NAC Breda, demonstrates a commitment to its fanbase despite the on-field challenges.
