Nacon Connect 2025 showcased a range of upcoming titles, including a deeper look at Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss and Edge of Memories, signaling a continued push for innovative gaming experiences on Xbox Series X|S.

The event, held earlier this month, began with the reveal of Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, an investigative thriller set to launch in 2026. The game centers around conflict over Earth’s dwindling resources, leading corporations to explore the ocean depths and uncover hidden horrors. Players will investigate the disappearance of a mining group in the Pacific, aided by an AI companion named Key, even as battling to maintain their sanity against the influence of Cthulhu.

Edge of Memories, recently revealed, as well had its first gameplay demonstration at Nacon Connect. The game is set in the serene landscapes of Avaris, which are threatened by a corrupting force called Corrosion, transforming the environment into monstrous abominations. Players take on the role of a Soul Whisperer, tasked with easing the burdens of the people and combating the creatures inhabiting the world. During her journey, the protagonist, Eline, discovers a mysterious power that may be the key to preventing an apocalypse. Edge of Memories is slated for release on Xbox Series X|S in Fall 2025.

Beyond these titles, Nacon Connect also featured gameplay footage from The Fading of Nicole Wilson and The Occultist, offering a glimpse into the diverse range of projects in development. The event highlighted the company’s commitment to supporting independent studios and delivering unique gaming experiences. The increasing focus on narrative-driven titles with strong atmospheric elements reflects a growing trend in the gaming industry towards immersive and emotionally engaging gameplay.
