Nadia Maria Endrizzi Reclaims Her Voice in Powerful Debut EP ‘This is a Solo and not a Duet’
Nadia Maria Endrizzi is stepping back into the spotlight, but this time, the narrative is entirely her own. The 32-year-old artist from the Rheintal region has officially released her debut EP, Nadia Endrizzi: From the Stage to Self-Love and Musical Success, a project that serves as both a musical milestone and a personal manifesto of independence.
The road to this release was a long and transformative one. A decade ago, in 2016, Endrizzi captivated audiences on the SRF program “Die grössten Schweizer Talente.” Her commanding performance of Adele’s “Skyfall” earned her a standing ovation from the crowd and a memorable moment when “Divertimento” star Jonny Fischer rushed the stage to snap a selfie with her. While the performance was a triumph, the journey from that stage to her current debut took ten years of internal growth.
A Journey of Self-Discovery
The gap between her televised success and her new music reflects a period of intense personal struggle. Endrizzi opens up about battling low self-esteem and struggling with her body image throughout her teenage years, and 20s. She admits that during this time, she was overly critical of herself and those around her.

Central to this struggle was a loss of identity within her personal relationships. “I used to constantly put my own opinion last. My ex-partner’s opinion was more important to me than my own,” Endrizzi shared. “But inside, things were simmering.”
The turning point came through extensive therapy, which allowed Endrizzi to dismantle those negative patterns and cultivate self-acceptance. As of April 9, 2026, the singer describes herself as being in a better place than ever, having finally found the freedom to be herself.
Music as a Mirror of Growth
This emotional evolution is the heartbeat of her new EP. The title, “This is a Solo and not a Duet,” is a direct reference to her journey of learning to give her own voice more weight than the opinions of others. The project highlights the artist’s transition from a televised talent discovery to a self-actualized independent musician.
This theme of liberation is most evident in the track “Beautiful Coward.” The song serves as both a reckoning with her former partner and a firm affirmation that she deserves a partner who truly wants to be with her. Through these lyrics, Endrizzi transforms her past pain into a declaration of worth.
While Endrizzi’s path has been uniquely her own, her passion for music is a family legacy. Although her mother is a dentist and her father is a trustee, both parents share a deep love for music—a passion they passed down to Nadia and her younger siblings. This lifelong connection to melody provided the foundation for what has turn into a journey of healing and musical success.
