Rumors are swirling around Erling Braut Haaland’s future, but his agent is firmly denying any discussions with Barcelona. Rafaela Pimenta addressed recent speculation in Spanish press, stating, “We have often said that we have great respect and admiration for Barcelona, but there has been no contact whatsoever, either with Haaland’s representatives or with Barcelona’s leadership, regarding a possible transfer.”
The denials arrive after Barcelona presidential candidate Víctor Font expressed his desire to bring Haaland to the club, aiming to secure a “preferred option” should the striker ever consider leaving Manchester City. Font told SER Catalunya via ESPN that Haaland is “without a doubt one of the best strikers in the world right now.”
Still, Pimenta emphasized Haaland’s happiness at Manchester City, where he recently signed a long-term contract extending through 2034. “He is very happy in Manchester City. Everything is going very well for him, and we really have nothing to discuss regarding a transfer when everything is so good in City,” she said. This news arrives as transfer speculation frequently captivates football fans worldwide.
Font acknowledged that a move isn’t currently feasible, stating, “In the short term, he is not an option.”
