CMF is reportedly preparing to launch its latest smartphone, the Phone 3 Pro, with an expected release window spanning late April or May 2026. According to reports from Android Headlines, the new device will serve as the successor to last year’s Phone 2 Pro, introducing several significant hardware upgrades that signal a shift in the brand’s performance strategy.
A Major Shift in Processing Power
The most notable change in the Phone 3 Pro is a transition in chipset architecture. Moving away from the MediaTek processors used in previous iterations, CMF is expected to adopt Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip. This pivot to Snapdragon hardware suggests a focus on optimizing efficiency and processing capabilities for its mid-range offering.
Enhanced Battery and Charging Capabilities
To improve longevity and user experience, the Phone 3 Pro is slated to feature a larger battery with a capacity estimated between 5,400 and 5,500 mAh. Complementing the increased capacity is a boost in charging speeds, with the device expected to support 45-watt wired charging. These improvements address key pain points in the mobile experience, ensuring the device can keep up with power-intensive modern applications.
Display and Build Quality
The device will feature an AMOLED panel boasting a resolution of 2392×1080, featuring a centered selfie camera. In a departure from the plastic construction used in its predecessor, the Phone 3 Pro is expected to debut a new metal frame, providing a more premium feel and increased structural durability.
While the overall design language remains largely consistent with the previous generation, minor adjustments have been made to the placement of the rear cameras. CMF has not yet officially announced a specific launch date for the device.
