Okie Agustina has spoken out after her daughter, Nasha Anaya Putri Valentina Pasha, became the target of online criticism. The controversy began following a birthday celebration where Nasha offered the first bite of her cake to her father, Pasha Ungu, and his wife.
Some social media users felt Nasha should have offered the first bite to her mother, Okie. Though, Okie defended her daughter and asked Nasha not to dwell on the comments.
“I just told Nasha, ‘Just don’t read it, don’t pay attention to what people are saying.’ The important thing is that we grasp what the situation was,” Okie Agustina said Friday, March 13, 2026, at Gedung Trans TV in Jakarta.

Okie explained that outsiders don’t truly understand the dynamics of the situation and felt there was no need to amplify the negative comments.
She also emphasized that her relationship with Nasha remains close and loving.
“The important thing is that Nasha loves me, more than she loves anyone. She always says that,” Okie added.
The comments arose during Nasha’s birthday celebration when she gave the first bite of cake to Pasha and his wife, Adelia. Some viewers felt this was inappropriate, as she should have offered it to Okie first.
Despite the criticism, Okie stated she doesn’t have a problem with it, understanding her daughter had her own reasons and choosing to support Nasha amid the backlash. This situation highlights the complexities of blended families and the scrutiny they sometimes face in the public eye.
