Arash “Ash” Pournouri, 44, announced in February that he was leaving his role as a judge on TV4’s “Idol” after two seasons. On Instagram, he wrote that he had originally planned to only be on the show for one season.

“The fact that it became two says everything about how much the journey has given me. But I have chosen to clear my commitments to be able to fully focus on what’s next and locate it difficult to be tied down,” Pournouri wrote.
