Oppo is reportedly developing a latest tablet, dubbed the Pad Mini, according to the latest information from Digital Chat Station. The device is expected to feature a compact design with an 8.8-inch high refresh rate display.
The Pad Mini will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and will include a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
With the launch of this device, Oppo will further enter the increasingly competitive market for high-end small tablets in China. The company has not yet disclosed whether the Pad Mini will be available internationally, or a specific release date for the Chinese market.
Reports indicate that the Oppo Pad Mini will be priced similarly to Huawei’s MatePad Mini and the device is expected to have a very slim design, potentially attracting significant consumer interest. The move signals growing competition within the tablet space as manufacturers seek to cater to consumers desiring more portable options.
