Orange Maroc is bolstering efforts to combat online harassment of students through a new partnership with the national government and several key institutions. The initiative aims to create a safer digital environment for young people as internet apply continues to grow among students.
The telecommunications company is participating in a national program focused on preventing and addressing bullying in schools and cyberbullying, operating under its “ForGoodConnections” initiative. This collaboration will support schools and families in navigating the risks associated with online activity.
The program, now officially named الاهتمام المشترك, was the focus of a meeting in Rabat on February 26, 2026, led by the Minister of National Education. The meeting assessed the program’s progress and outlined plans for its nationwide rollout.
Key components of the program include training for dedicated school personnel, clear protocols for handling reported incidents, the involvement of student ambassadors, and increased awareness campaigns for parents. A national monitoring and evaluation system will also be implemented to ensure the program’s effectiveness.
Orange Maroc is working alongside the Digital Development Agency, the General Directorate of National Security, the Royal Gendarmerie, the National Observatory for Children’s Rights, and the ReSIS Center. Through this alliance, the companies aim to establish the internet as a tool for trust, prevention, and equal opportunity for students.
