Francisca ‘Pancha’ Merino, a panelist on the Chilean entertainment show ‘Primer Plano,’ has shared details regarding a reported disagreement between co-hosts Cecilia Gutiérrez, Pablo Candia, and Danilo 21. The news comes as Gutiérrez is rumored to be leaving the program.
During an appearance on TV+’s ‘Noche de suerte,’ Merino explained how the dispute began, according to Página 7.
“We’ve had several conversations during production meetings to address situations that have occurred on air, with the goal of building trust among us,” Merino said.
“Cecilia Gutiérrez, whom I’ve known for over 18 years, raised an issue that bothered her. She confronted Danilo about a situation involving Paula Escobar, and Gala and others said Cecilia had revealed information about Paula. It was quite a bit of gossip among the panelists,” she recalled.
Merino stated that Gutiérrez brought up the issue respectfully during a production meeting. “She presented the problem in a highly respectful manner. In fact, at one point she told Danilo that she appreciated and respected him,” she said.
Regarding Danilo21, Merino added, “I’ve known him for a couple of months, and I find him to be kind and sweet, but I feel that when someone enters this industry or a new job, they need to respect people with experience.”
“Vasco (Moulian) didn’t make any comments. I made a few lighthearted remarks to ease the tension (…) The issue was discussed respectfully during the meeting, and Pablo also shared his opinion,” she noted.
