Panthers Sign Forward Jonah Gadjovich to Two-Year Contract Extension

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – The Florida Panthers announced today, October 12, 2025, at 4:57 PM EDT, that they have signed forward Jonah Gadjovich to a two-year contract extension worth $1.8 million, securing his position with the team through the 2027-28 season.

Gadjovich, who turned 27 today, has registered six goals and three assists in 84 games across three seasons with the Panthers. He also contributed significantly during last season’s playoff run, scoring two goals – including a crucial goal against the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 7 – and adding an assist. This extension provides stability to the Panthers’ forward depth as they aim to repeat their success from the previous season.

“Jonah has become an integral part of our locker room and a strong contributor for our group on the ice,” said Panthers General Manager Bill Zito. “He possesses a fearless attitude and unrelenting competitiveness, and we are excited for Jonah to continue with us in South Florida.” Through three games this season, Gadjovich has one assist and is tied for the team lead with 11 hits. He has played 163 career NHL games with the Panthers, San Jose Sharks, and Vancouver Canucks, originally drafted by Vancouver in the second round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

With this signing, the Panthers now have 11 forwards under contract for the 2026-27 season, including stars like Aleksander Barkov and Matthew Tkachuk.
