According to reports, the scammer, posing as Patricia Busking, claimed to be a lottery winner of 314 million dollars and used individuals falsely representing FedEx delivery drivers to request payment for delivery charges and security clearances. The Better Business Bureau has documented similar schemes linked to the same individual.
The scammer’s email address is listed as [email protected], though authorities caution that scammers frequently change contact information. Multiple reports have been filed regarding Patricia Busking’s activities, with at least five reports documented on Online Scams, and 34 comments from individuals sharing similar experiences.
The victim’s loss of 60,000 euros underscores the significant financial impact these scams can have on individuals. The incident was first reported on September 14, 2025, and is currently under investigation. The scam ID assigned by the Better Business Bureau is 1058805.
