Oskar Pietuszewski continued his impressive form for FC Porto, providing an assist in Sunday’s victory over Rio Ave.
The Polish winger made his fifth appearance for Porto on Sunday evening, earning a second consecutive start in the lineup for the Liga Portugal leaders.
Pietuszewski was active from the opening whistle, and his impact was felt in the 22nd minute. The Polish international drove down the left wing, skillfully evaded a defender, entered the penalty area, and delivered a pinpoint pass to Victor Froholdt, who finished from close range.
This assist marked Pietuszewski’s second direct contribution to a goal in Porto colors. He previously won a penalty in his debut against Vitória Guimarães, which was then converted.
Jan Bednarek as well featured in the starting lineup for Porto. Jakub Kiwior, the third Polish player on the roster, is currently sidelined with an injury.
