POCO is set to launch the F8 Pro, a new smartphone featuring the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform, a substantial 6210mAh battery, and a 6.59” 120Hz display. The device is positioned to deliver a high value proposition to consumers, according to Xiaomi Global.
The Snapdragon® 8 Elite, built on an advanced 3nm process, aims to provide impressive performance with enhanced energy efficiency. The F8 Pro also boasts 100W HyperCharge capabilities. This focus on processing power and battery life reflects the increasing demands placed on smartphones by modern applications and gaming.
The phone’s display is a 6.59” POCO HyperRGB AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, designed for smooth visuals and an immersive user experience. Xiaomi highlights all-day flicker-free eye care as a key feature. The F8 Pro will also include a 50MP triple camera system with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a dedicated 60mm telephoto camera.
Audio is handled by Bose, with symmetrical stereo speakers. The device is also IP68 dust and water resistant, tested in laboratory conditions involving submersion in freshwater up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. However, Xiaomi cautions against utilize in beach or pool environments and notes that the warranty does not cover liquid damage outside of the specified test conditions.
Storage options include 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB configurations, utilizing LPDDR5X 9600Mbps RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone measures 157.49mm in height, 75.25mm in width, and 8.0mm in thickness, weighing 199g. The display offers a resolution of 2510×1156, a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits covering 25% of the display area. Poco’s specifications page details a touch sampling rate of up to 480Hz, with an instant touch sampling rate of up to 2560Hz in Game Turbo Mode.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with a Light Fusion 800 image sensor, a 50MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The phone will be available in Black, Titanium Silver, and Blue color options. Notably, the term “Titanium Silver” refers to the product’s color and surface appearance and does not indicate the presence of titanium material.
Alongside the F8 Pro, POCO is also preparing to launch the X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max on March 17, 2026, featuring powerful chipsets and large batteries, according to Disway.
