The Poco X8 Pro series has been generating significant buzz this week, and today brings new information: marketing materials for the Poco X8 Pro Max have reportedly been leaked.
According to the leaked materials, the Poco X8 Pro Max will feature a 6.83-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2772 x 1280. The screen is also reported to reach a peak brightness of up to 3500 nits, support the DCI-P3 color gamut, and be a 12-bit panel. This focus on display quality underscores the increasing importance of visual experience in the smartphone market.
The phone’s camera system will consist of a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. A 20-megapixel front-facing camera is also said to be included for selfies.
The leaks also indicate that the Poco X8 Pro Max will incorporate stereo speakers supporting Dolby Atmos and high-resolution audio. Poco claims the speakers are capable of delivering sound that is up to 300% louder.
Powering the device is the Dimensity 9500s processor, paired with a vapor chamber cooling system to improve heat dissipation. The phone also appears to support direct charging.
The Poco X8 Pro Max boasts a substantial 8500mAh battery supporting 100W wired charging, as well as 27W reverse wireless charging. Despite the large battery capacity, Poco has managed to keep the phone’s thickness at 8.38mm and its weight around 201 grams.
Additional features include IP68 dust and water resistance and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
Poco has not yet announced an official launch date for its new smartphones. However, a recent report suggests a global release on March 17.
