Pokémon Pokopia, the recently launched life simulation game for Nintendo Switch 2, has kicked off its first in-game event. The “More Spores for Hoppip” event began on March 10, 2026, and offers players the chance to encounter and befriend the Pokémon Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff.
Event Guide: “More Spores for Hoppip” in Pokémon Pokopia
To participate in the event, players must first ensure it is active. The event runs from March 10, 2026, at 5:00 AM local time, through March 25, 2026, at 4:59 AM local time. The limited-time event highlights the game’s focus on creating a dynamic and evolving world for players to explore.

End Date: March 25, 2026, at 4:59 AM local time.
Attempting to access event rewards or Pokémon outside of these dates will not be possible.
Before progressing with the event objectives, players must unlock the first Pokémon Center in the Withering Wasteland. Once unlocked, Hoppip will appear outside the center. Interacting with Hoppip will automatically add it to the player’s Pokédex.
Advancing in the event requires a trip to the Dream Islands, where necessary materials can be found. However, access to the Dream Islands is contingent on two prerequisites:
-
Players must have Drifloon registered in their Pokédex.
-
Players must possess a plushie that grants access to travel.
If Drifloon is not already registered, players can craft it by creating three Bonfires using the following materials:
-
Thick Branch ×3
-
Stone ×3
Completing this requirement allows players to travel to the Dream Islands.
On the Dream Islands, players must search for and collect Flying Seeds, which serve as the primary resource for the event. It is recommended to gather at least 75 seeds to obtain all exclusive items available during the event.
Once enough seeds are collected, players should return to the Pokémon Center and speak with Hoppip again. There, they can exchange the Flying Seeds for various event-themed items, including Serene Flower Seeds, which are needed to create special habitats.
To increase the chances of encountering Pokémon from this evolutionary line, players must construct the “Serene Flower Bed” habitat in their base.
This habitat allows for the appearance of Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff, although the latter two appear less frequently.
To further increase the probability of Skiploom appearing, players should prepare an additional environment using the following items obtained through exchange:
-
Floral Bag ×1
-
Hoppip Thermos ×1
-
Picnic Food ×1
This set of items significantly increases Skiploom’s presence in the player’s base.
To efficiently obtain Jumpluff, players are recommended to create the “Flowered Field Trip” habitat, which reduces its rarity within the game. This requires the following items:
Installing this environment changes Jumpluff’s appearance probability from “particularly rare” to “rare.”
Players can exchange their Flying Seeds for various decorative and functional items during the event. Some of the most crucial items include:
-
Serene Flower Seeds (5 units) — 5 Flying Seeds
-
Floral Picnic Set — 10 Flying Seeds
-
Floral Table — 10 Flying Seeds
-
Floral Cushion — 10 Flying Seeds
-
Picnic Mat — 15 Flying Seeds
-
Hoppip Thermos — 5 Flying Seeds
-
Picnic Food — 5 Flying Seeds
-
Bottled Juices — 5 Flying Seeds
-
Floral Bag — 5 Flying Seeds
-
Flower Garland (10 units) — 5 Flying Seeds
Players must complete all steps and obtain Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff before the event ends on March 25. Once the period has ended, these Pokémon and associated items will no longer be available. However, an alternative method to obtain them has been shared.
