A new cultural magazine show, Pop! ou rien, is set to launch on Crave and Noovo on April 9th, promising a lively and engaging look at the latest trends in entertainment and the arts. The program aims to deliver a comprehensive overview of what’s generating buzz both domestically, and internationally.
Hosted by Marie-Josée Gauvin, the show is described as “a considerable party with friends,” and will feature a rotating panel of collaborators including Anne-Marie Withenshaw, Alex Perron, Marie-Mai, and Maxence Garneau. The discussions will air every Thursday at 5:00 PM on Crave and 7:30 PM on Noovo.
The program will also include segments featuring Rainbow Drag, who will visit the homes, studios, and hidden spots of various personalities, and comedian Jérémie Jacob, who will take on daily challenges set by Gauvin. This blend of established and emerging talent reflects a broader trend in media towards more diverse and engaging content formats.
Rising star Eva Lamontagne, who gained recognition on the show Quel Talent! at age 12, will cover red carpets at various galas. Marika Simard, Philippe Lacroix, Anne-Lovely Étienne, Seb Lozon, Jean-Michel Côté, Marie-Ève Campeau, and Johannie Hébert-Cimon will provide behind-the-scenes access and comprehensive coverage of events throughout the province.
Malia Kounkou will offer analysis of current trends, while Catherine Beauchamp will provide film reviews, rounding out the show’s team of contributors. Gauvin also emphasized the show’s commitment to audience interaction, stating, “I will question questions, I will address the camera.”

“Pop culture doesn’t give us a break,” Gauvin concluded.
