President Prabowo Subianto marked the Idulfitri holiday by reaching out to leaders across the Muslim world, extending greetings and reaffirming diplomatic ties. The outreach underscores Indonesia’s commitment to regional cooperation and its role as a key player in the global Muslim community.

According to a statement released Monday, March 23, 2026, President Subianto spoke with several heads of state, including Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. The communications were part of a series of calls made to foster goodwill during the festive season.
