The launch is accompanied by limited-time discounts. From now until 11:59 PM on February 22, 2026, the game will be available for ¥630 (around $139 USD), a 30% reduction from its standard price. Players who already own the Nintendo Switch version of Puyon can upgrade for an even greater discount of 75%, costing just ¥225 (approximately $50 USD).

Set on “Nyanten Island,” the game invites players to interact with the charming Puyon cats. Puyon for Nintendo Switch 2 emphasizes intuitive controls and introduces original gameplay mechanics, offering a blend of cuteness and strategic depth.

New Features and Gameplay Options

The game includes online leaderboards for competitive play, as well as robust offline multiplayer options supporting up to four players. Game modes include “Battle Puyon,” “Rotate Puyon,” “Collaboration Puyon,” “Non-Stop Puyon,” and “Speed Puyon.”
