The Quebec Association for Training in Restaurant, Tourism and Hotel Industries (AQFORTH) has announced the upcoming launch of ticket sales for the 21st edition of the Grands Prix de la Relève in restaurant, tourism and hotel industries. The event will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 4 p.m. To 9 p.m. At the École Hôtelière de la Montérégie in Longueuil.
The event recognizes emerging talent in Quebec’s hospitality sector, an industry currently facing ongoing labor challenges and a need for skilled professionals. This year’s edition will be presided over by the Honorable Amélie Dionne, Minister of Tourism, who will acknowledge the commitment and talent of the industry’s next generation.
Industry professionals, partners, educators, employers, and tourism enthusiasts can now reserve their place to support and celebrate graduating students in tourism, hospitality, and restaurant management.

Join the Industry to Celebrate the Next Generation
Each year, the Grands Prix de la Relève brings together stakeholders from Quebec’s education and tourism networks to recognize the excellence, creativity, and perseverance of students from educational institutions across the province.
Several scholarships will be awarded during the evening to recognize the achievements of these emerging talents. The prestigious Grand Prix d’Excellence, accompanied by a scholarship of $5,000, will be awarded to a student who has demonstrated exceptional performance among the scholarship recipients.
An Evening of Networking, Mentorship, and Celebration
The evening will begin with a welcome cocktail reception, followed by a program alternating between the presentation of awards and networking activities. Presentations highlighting duos composed of former award winners and experienced professionals will also enrich the program.
Throughout the evening, hors d’oeuvres will be prepared and served by students from the École hôtelière de la Montérégie, showcasing the talent of the next generation and providing a practical learning experience.
