Ramadan: UAE Distributes Hundreds of Thousands of Iftar Meals to Needy Families

Multiple organizations across the United Arab Emirates are working to provide meals to those in need during the month of Ramadan. These efforts highlight the importance of community support and charitable giving during the holy month.

Dar Al Ber Society, a leading UAE-based non-profit, is distributing meals to orphans worldwide. The organization has multiple branches and centers throughout the Emirates, including locations in Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain. In Fujairah, Dar Al Ber Society is offering 210,000 iftar meals, according to the Gulf News. The meals will be distributed through 129 locations and a Ramadan tent in Sharjah.

Elsewhere in the UAE, the Sharjah Charity International Foundation is distributing 900,000 iftar meals to fasting individuals, as reported by شبكة تواصل الإخبارية. The Emirates Today reports that 129 sites and a Ramadan tent are being used to provide iftar meals in Sharjah.

The Sharjah Charity is also providing food baskets to 25,000 beneficiaries, according to الاتحاد للأخبار. These initiatives demonstrate a widespread commitment to supporting vulnerable populations during Ramadan.
