Brazilian TV Host Ratinho Expresses Frustration with Show’s Shifting Timeslot

Brazilian television personality Ratinho opened his show on Monday, March 9, with a fresh critique of SBT’s decision to alter his program’s timeslot. The host even joked that the network is attempting to push him to resign.
“Now, it’s at 9:45 PM. Every day they change it. It was 10:30 PM, then 10:00 PM, then 9:30 PM, now it’s 10:45 PM. Tomorrow it will be at 2:00 AM and so on,” Ratinho said on air.
“I’m starting to believe they keep changing the time to see if I’ll quit. I’m not going to resign, it won’t work,” he quipped to the show’s panel of judges.
Ratinho also stated that SBT can change the time of his program as many times as they like, even moving it to the early hours of the morning, but he will continue to show up for work.
“I’m not going to resign. ‘It’s 4:00 AM.’ I started here at 4:00 AM. It’s 3:30 AM, I started at 3:30 AM. Not with me, I’ll find one,” he concluded.
