A clue – that the key was held by a contestant with a pet – narrowed the field as players in “Limuzīns dāvanā” (“Limousine as a Gift”) gathered for a pivotal dinner where one contestant’s journey would end.
In a surprising turn, only Rūdolfs Kristbergs correctly identified Miku as the key holder. He explained his choice stemmed from his inability to read Miku’s emotions. Meanwhile, other contestants cast votes in different directions: Evita and Kristaps targeted Veronika, whereas Miks, Monta, Sandra, Veronika, Roberts, and Rūdolfs Cīrulis unanimously voted against Evita.
The reveal came when Evita was asked to publicly display the contents of her box, which was found to be empty, much to the shock of everyone present. Tension between Evita and Monta had been building since earlier in the day, sparked by a seemingly innocuous comment about a left-open door, which Monta interpreted as a hidden signal. Monta used this as evidence that Evita was controlling the game. Responding to accusations of an unfair vote, Monta stated, “Well, I think maybe Arvis [came during the night] with the group division. You didn’t explain!”
Following the announcement, Evita visibly expressed her disappointment, dramatically leaving the table.
Her dream of winning a new car faded, and emotions ran high.
“I feel betrayed, shocked! There’s a huge range of emotions! There’s all the negativity that has accumulated over these days! But more of a state of shock and incomprehension, because I thought I could trust people, but they really let me down,” Evita said.
Monta also didn’t feel satisfaction after the vote, mistakenly believing Evita was the primary target. Reflecting on her actions, she was harsh on herself: “I am disappointed in myself! I am confused and, actually, I am also ashamed. I am ashamed because I was convinced that Evita would be to blame.”
Evita is convinced that most of the group has fallen under Monta’s influence, labeling her the unofficial leader, or “bartender.” Her final message to those remaining was laced with sarcasm: “Good luck listening to Monta further! I am incredibly angry!”
