realme Launches Budget-Friendly C83 with High Refresh Rate Display and Large Battery
realme has recently gained attention for its feature-rich phones, and the company has now unveiled another device aimed at attracting users with its detailed specifications. The company announced the C83, a new addition to its C-series lineup, at a launch event.
The realme C83 is positioned in the budget-friendly category but comes with impressive features. The phone features a camera setup located in the upper left corner on the rear, and utilizes a notched display. It measures 166.3 × 78.1 × 8.4 mm and weighs 212 grams.
What Does the realme C83 Offer?
The realme C83 boasts a 6.8-inch IPS LCD screen with a high 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 900 nits, offering a resolution of 720×1570 pixels. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of storage. This combination aims to deliver a smooth user experience in the competitive smartphone market.
Running Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, the phone features a 13MP main camera with an f/2.2 aperture on the rear. Additional camera details have not been disclosed. A 5MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture is located within the notch on the front.
Like other recent realme devices, the phone is equipped with a large battery. Specifically, it includes a 7000 mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging. The 4GB/128GB version is priced at $157, while the 6GB/128GB version is available for $189.
