After a lengthy and troubled development cycle marked by multiple delays, the release of Replaced is finally on the horizon. The cyberpunk-inspired action platformer is slated to launch on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X on April 14, and will be available to Game Pass subscribers.

Indicating that development hurdles have largely been overcome, the game’s creators have begun sharing more detailed information about the title, including expected technical performance and average playtime. In an interview with GamingBolt, director Yura Zhdanovich stated:

“We are not forcing any side content on players, so it really depends on your playstyle. I would say the average could be around 8 hours, and 11-12 if you really seek out optional things.”

Regarding technical specifications, developers are focused on polishing the game to achieve optimal performance. Their goal is to deliver 4K resolution at 60 frames per second on Xbox Series X, and a still-impressive 1440p at 60fps on Xbox Series S. The team also addressed the absence of a PlayStation 5 version, explaining:

“When we first started developing Replaced and talked with the different platform partners, we decided to release it as an Xbox-first and Game Pass title, as we felt this was the right fit for us. We cannot confirm any other platforms at this time.”

This statement suggests that other platform releases haven’t been entirely ruled out, leaving the door open for potential expansions in the future.
