Last week, performance testing was completed on the latest installment in the Resident Evil saga, Requiem, a new creation within the franchise’s expansive universe rather than a remaster. Three graphics cards were added to the testing suite: the 12GB GeForce RTX 3060, the Intel ARC B580, and the Radeon VII. Given that the Radeon VII lacks dedicated ray tracing units, it was tested with both TAA and FSR 3.1.5 Balanced + Frame Generation. Scores in the latter mode are not directly comparable to other cards, as they were achieved without ray tracing.
The RTX 3060 was limited to Full HD resolution, keeping in mind its inability to utilize Frame Generation with Path Tracing – a technology exclusive to RTX 40 and RTX 50 series cards. The ARC B580 was also excluded from Path Tracing tests, as this mode remains exclusive (at least for now?) to GeForce cards. It also couldn’t fully demonstrate its capabilities due to the absence of XeSS or Frame Generation XeSS within the game.
