Porsche and Capcom Collaborate for ‘Resident Evil: Requiem’

Capcom has announced a collaboration with Porsche for its upcoming survival horror game, Resident Evil: Requiem, set to launch on February 27, 2026. The partnership features the 2026 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT as a key vehicle within the game, marking the series’ debut with a German sports car manufacturer. This collaboration highlights a growing trend of brand integrations within the gaming industry, offering players immersive experiences and extending brand reach.

The 2026 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is a custom-built model of the mid-size UHP luxury Coupé SUV and will serve as the primary transport for Leon S. Kennedy, a Division of Security Operations operative, during his missions in locations including Wrenwood, Rhodes Hill Care Center, and Raccoon City, according to the Resident Evil Wiki. This isn’t the first time vehicles have been featured in the Resident Evil franchise; Claire Redfield previously utilized a Harley Davidson in Resident Evil 2 (2019), and Leon drove a Ducati motorbike in Resident Evil: Vendetta (2017).

The collaboration was previewed in a trailer released by Capcom, as seen on IGN. The license plate number ‘9642’ on the Porsche is a nod to Leon S. Kennedy’s appearances throughout the numbered entries in the Resident Evil series.

Resident Evil: Requiem, the ninth main installment in the franchise, will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. HotCars reports that the featured Porsche model has a price tag of $210,000. The game’s release follows a series of promotional events, including Capcom Next (Summer 2024), Summer Game Fest 2025, Capcom Spotlight (June 2025), Gamescom 2025, Future Games Show 2025, PAX West 2025, and a Nintendo Direct on September 12th.

Early reports suggest that information regarding the game’s ending may have been prematurely released online, as noted by Games.tiscali.cz.
