Three people died and one was injured Monday, March 2, 2026, after a vehicle fleeing a police check in Rome crashed into another car. The incident underscores the dangers of failing to comply with law enforcement.

Three South American nationals who were inside the fleeing vehicle were arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter.
