A work at the intersection of contemporary music, multimedia, and performance, created in collaboration with actress Stephanie Parth-Lara, the Tyrolean Ensemble for New Music (TENM), and the Archaeological University Museum of the University of Innsbruck.

“Run!” is a music theater piece about fleeing from oneself. It begins where the contradiction between aspiration and reality leads to collapse. Consciously eschewing spoken text, the piece relies entirely on music and scenic representation to convey its narrative. The work innovatively combines music, multimedia, performance, and installation elements, immersing the audience in a swirl of image and sound—while also confronting them with moments of sudden emptiness and reduction.

The plot is broadly inspired by the ancient tale of Pygmalion. A woman is confronted with her shadow sides and fears through a statue gradually emerging from shards. The piece explores themes of loneliness and psychological struggles, focusing on the internal and external contradictions between self-optimization and self-presentation. It reflects a growing sense of alienation, not only between people but also within oneself.
