The thriller film, “The Aggressor,” starring Ahmed El Fishawy, has returned to cinemas after a period of uncertainty, producer Ahmed El Sobky announced on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. El Sobky confirmed the film’s availability across all Egyptian theaters via his official Instagram account.
El Sobky issued a statement expressing gratitude to Minister of Culture Jehan Zaki for her support of the film industry and her understanding of the situation. He affirmed full compliance with all censorship notes from the early stages of production, emphasizing a collaborative and respectful approach with all concerned parties.
“The Aggressor” centers around Karim, a solitary man searching for his identity who finds it in rebelling against his family. Years later, a relationship with a beautiful woman leads him down a dark path, triggering a series of murders and delving into the depths of a disturbed human psyche. The film promises a suspenseful drama exploring themes of fear, obsession, and psychological breakdown.
