Samsung is set to introduce its new flagship Galaxy S26 smartphone lineup next Wednesday, but the company has additional devices in the pipeline. Reports indicate that Samsung will soon unveil new mid-range phones, specifically the Galaxy A37 and A57. Originally planned for a mid-February announcement, the company decided to avoid overshadowing the flagship launch. Now, speculation points to a March reveal, potentially coinciding with the Mobile World Congress (MWC) trade demonstrate.
Galaxy A37 and A57: Known Appearance and Key Specifications
The impending launch of the Galaxy A37 and A57 is supported by a growing number of leaks, revealing nearly all aspects of both phones. Samsung isn’t expected to deviate significantly from its current design language. Both phones will feature an oval camera module and flat sides with raised button islands. The more affordable Galaxy A37 will distinguish itself with a larger display surrounded by slightly thicker bezels.

Specifications for both phones were previously revealed by the TENAA certification authority and subsequently corroborated by other sources. Compared to the Galaxy A36 and A56, the A37 and A57 represent a modest upgrade, particularly in performance and thickness – the Galaxy A57 is expected to measure just 6.9mm thick and weigh 182 grams. The phones will also feature increased durability with IP68 water and dust resistance.
The Galaxy A57 is anticipated to include a 6.6” AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a circular cutout for a 12MP front-facing camera. The rear camera setup will consist of a triple-lens array (main, ultrawide, and macro) with resolutions of 50, 12, and 5 megapixels, respectively, with the main sensor utilizing more modern technology. The device is rumored to be powered by a new Exynos 1680 chipset, while the battery will retain a capacity of 5,000 mAh and support 45W charging.
The more affordable Galaxy A37 will reportedly feature a 6.7” AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. A 12MP selfie camera will handle front-facing photos, and the rear cameras will include a 50MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro lens. The Galaxy A37 is expected to be powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset, previously found in the two-year-old Galaxy A55. The battery capacity will remain at 5,000 mAh, with support for up to 45W charging.
Both phones will launch with Android 16 and Samsung’s One UI 8.5. Although, they will likely lack the full suite of Galaxy AI features found on the flagship models, instead offering a limited “Awesome AI” package.
