Samsung Electronics today announced the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G, the latest additions to its Galaxy A series. The new devices bring Samsung’s most recent mobile innovations, including enhanced “Awesome Intelligence,” to a wider global audience. This launch underscores Samsung’s commitment to expanding AI capabilities across its product portfolio and empowering users with intuitive AI features designed to simplify everyday tasks.
The Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G offer upgrades in performance, camera technology, and display quality, alongside enhanced durability and security features. Samsung is also promising up to six generations of OS upgrades and long-term security support, signaling a focus on device longevity. Running the latest One UI 8.5, the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G extend Samsung’s AI innovations to more users. Awesome Intelligence aims to help people accomplish more with ease and unlock new ways to create and stay productive.
A new feature, Voice Transcription, is available within the Voice Recorder app, allowing users to easily uncover important details from meetings, lectures, or calls by quickly transcribing and translating recordings or converting voice memos to text. AI Select is now more accessible via a long press on the side panel, displaying relevant actions directly on screen for extracting text or creating content without manual selection. AI Select also supports drag-and-drop functionality in multi-window mode, enabling users to easily move images to Samsung Notes or Photo Editor for faster editing and increased productivity.
Awesome Intelligence also simplifies everyday photo editing. Object Eraser now delivers more natural results when removing unwanted distractions, such as passersby in the background or clutter in a café. On the Galaxy A57 5G, Best Face supports more photos and burst shots, making it easier to capture perfect group photos where everyone looks their best. Popular features like Filters and Edit Suggestions help users refine and quickly share moments, while the Galaxy A57 5G also includes Auto Crop for easier video editing.
Search with Google’s Circle to Search now supports multi-object recognition, allowing users to easily explore multiple items within an image simultaneously, from an outfit to surrounding accessories, all with a single search.
The new Galaxy A series enhances Awesome Intelligence with a selection of assistants designed to simplify daily tasks, whether it’s searching for information, organizing projects, or easily adjusting settings. As a conversational assistant, the updated Bixby allows users to intuitively control Galaxy settings and features using natural language, while Gemini handles complex tasks within native Galaxy apps and select third-party applications for faster, more intuitive interactions.
