Samsung Launches Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G with Enhanced AI Features

Samsung Electronics announced the release of its new Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G smartphones on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The devices, the latest additions to the Galaxy A series, incorporate Samsung’s newest mobile innovations, including enhanced Awesome Intelligence, and are aimed at a broader global audience.

The launch reflects Samsung’s commitment to expanding AI capabilities across its product line and empowering users with intuitive AI features designed to simplify daily tasks. The company is positioning these releases as a way to bring advanced technology to a wider range of consumers.

According to the company, the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G offer upgrades to performance, camera functionality, and display quality, alongside improved durability and security features. Samsung will provide up to six generations of operating system upgrades and long-term security support for the new Galaxy A series.

The Galaxy A57 5G, the flagship of the lineup, features a slimmer design and upgraded AI-powered capabilities, making it the most powerful device in the Galaxy A series to date. “The new Galaxy A series reflects our continued commitment to AI democratization by bringing the latest innovations to more Galaxy users,” said TM Roh, Chief Executive Officer, President and Head of Device eXperience (DX) Division at Samsung Electronics. “With Samsung’s fundamental capabilities combined with enriched Awesome Intelligence, Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G will deliver reliable everyday performance to users around the world and drive rapid AI expansion.”

Both the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G utilize the latest One UI 8.5, extending Samsung’s AI innovations to more users. Features include Voice Transcription, which transcribes and translates call recordings and voicemails into text, as well as upgrades to Object Eraser for photo editing and multi-object recognition within Circle to Search.

The Galaxy A57 5G is priced starting at £529 for the 8+256GB configuration, although the Galaxy A37 5G starts at £399 for the 6+128GB model, with an 8+256GB option available for £459. Both devices will be officially available on April 10th. The pricing suggests Samsung is aiming for a competitive position in the mid-range smartphone market.

While both phones share core features like a 50Mp main camera and a 5000mAh battery, the Galaxy A57 5G boasts enhanced image processing for sharper detail and reduced noise. The A57 also features an Exynos 1680 chip, offering a performance advantage over the A37.
