Samsung unveiled its recent Galaxy Book6 series – including the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and Galaxy Book6 – at CES 2026, promising a significant leap in performance and AI-powered productivity. The new lineup represents Samsung’s most powerful Galaxy Book series to date, aiming to balance robust capabilities with a refined design.
A key focus of the new models is thermal management. Samsung has engineered a carefully designed cooling architecture to ensure efficient and consistent operation. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro feature an optimized vapor chamber and airflow system, with the Pro model incorporating a vapor chamber for the first time. The vapor chamber in the Galaxy Book6 Ultra has been redesigned with a larger surface area to distribute heat more evenly, keeping the devices cool and responsive even under heavy workloads.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and Galaxy Book6 in Gray commence February 25, 2026, in Canada.
Samsung will also release a Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition, offering features and solutions optimized for managed IT environments. This edition will be available in select markets starting in April 2026.
The Galaxy Book6 series will ship with Windows 11 Home, though the specific edition and availability may vary depending on the model and market. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v5.4, and 802.11be 2×2, though Wi-Fi 7 availability may depend on operating system version, location, network conditions, and other factors.
Configuration options include 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM (availability varies by model). Storage options include 512GB, 1TB, or 2TB PCIe SSDs, with an expansion slot available on the 16-inch Galaxy Book6 Pro. The availability of specific configurations may vary by model and market. Wi-Fi 6E availability may also vary by model.
The Galaxy Book6 series is designed to integrate seamlessly with other Samsung devices. Features like Multi Control require updated Galaxy smartphones and tablets with One UI 7 or higher, as well as Galaxy Book2 or newer (Intel) and Galaxy Book4 or newer (Arm) models, and Samsung Smart TVs released after 2025. Multi Control also requires updated Galaxy smartphones and tablets with One UI 5.1.1 or higher and Galaxy Book series devices released since 2021, running Samsung Settings v1.5 (Intel) or v3.3 (Arm), along with 2024 Smart Monitors.
Some features, such as copy and paste, are dependent on the specific device and software versions. The new Galaxy Book6 series builds on Samsung’s commitment to a connected ecosystem, offering users a more fluid and integrated experience across their devices.
