Samsung has officially set February 25th as the date for its next Galaxy Unpacked event, confirming weeks of speculation surrounding the launch of its next-generation smartphones.

The tech industry event, scheduled to take place in San Francisco, California, will almost certainly showcase the new Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. This announcement comes as Samsung continues to push the boundaries of mobile technology, particularly in the competitive premium smartphone market.

As is customary, Samsung will broadcast the conference on most platforms and social networks. On YouTube, you can already activate the notification to be alerted when the broadcast begins on Wednesday, February 25th, at 7:00 PM French time.

The event is expected to last between one and one and a half hours, depending on the number of announcements planned. In addition to the smartphones, Samsung is expected to launch new Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds Pro wireless headphones.

A Later Launch

Samsung is unveiling the new Samsung Galaxy S26 about a month later than last year. This delay may be due to supply difficulties faced by smartphone manufacturers, a period marked by a severe shortage of components such as RAM and flash storage – essential for smartphone functionality.

Despite rumors in recent months, Samsung’s unveiling is expected to proceed without major surprises. The Galaxy S26+, which was once thought to be replaced by the Galaxy S26 Edge, is expected to remain in the lineup of the market leader. As usual, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to attract all the attention with its XXL screen and latest-generation photo sensors.

The obvious question of price remains, and is all the more relevant in a period of shortages. Fingers are crossed that Samsung will be able to maintain the same prices as last year, but many rumors suggest that prices could rise this year. We’ll have an answer in a week.
