Samsung’s new Music Studio wireless speakers will support a range of voice assistants, including Alexa+, Bixby, and Google Gemini, the company recently announced. The integration expands the functionality of the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 speakers, slated for release later this year, and reflects the growing trend of embedding AI directly into consumer audio devices.

Amazon’s Alexa+ is the company’s most advanced conversational assistant, powered by generative AI, offering a more natural interaction experience and agentic AI capabilities that allow it to perform tasks on users’ behalf. Samsung’s own Bixby assistant is also set to receive a significant AI upgrade, leveraging large language models and integrations with third-party services like Perplexity, The Weather Channel, and Uber.

The speakers are designed with user convenience in mind, featuring a dedicated button for one-touch access to popular streaming services such as Amazon Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music. Audiophiles will appreciate the support for high-resolution audio, with Spotify Premium users able to stream FLAC files up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz.

Connectivity options include AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Google Cast, and Bluetooth. The Music Studio 7 also supports Samsung Seamless Codec when paired with a Galaxy phone. The Music Studio 5 is expected to retail for $249, while the Music Studio 7 will be priced at $499, when they become available later in the year.
