Santiago’s public transportation system, Red Movilidad, has implemented a series of adjustments to its bus services aimed at improving connections and expanding coverage throughout the capital city. The changes, which went into effect Saturday, January 24, are part of an ongoing effort to optimize the transit network and enhance the commuter experience.
The modifications directly benefit the communities of Lo Espejo, Pedro Aguirre Cerda, San Miguel, Santiago, Independencia and Puente Alto through route extensions, adjustments to existing routes, and changes in service numbering.
Changes to Bus Routes Implemented by Red Movilidad
Red Movilidad announced the following modifications to its services:

Route H13: The route now extends to the Metro Los Héroes station, adding latest stops along Avenida Portugal and Alameda, which improves connections to the city center.

Service H06 (now 306): The service has been renumbered to 306 and its route expanded north of the Mapocho River, connecting the Lo Sierra neighborhood in Lo Espejo with the commercial sector of Independencia.

Route F24 (Puente Alto): The route has been shortened, and will no longer stop at Av. Jorge Ross Ossa / esq. Puerto Octay (PF1176) and Av. Jorge Ross Ossa / esq. Puerto Octay (PF1193).

Service F26 (Puente Alto): The route has been modified in the Villa Parque Alto area, extending eastward along Paso Alto to Loma Redonda 2 Sur, expanding public transportation coverage in the area.
These modifications are part of Red Movilidad’s ongoing process of updating its services, aimed at strengthening urban connectivity and improving the travel experience for public transportation users in Santiago. The move underscores the city’s commitment to accessible and efficient public transit.
