Santiago Wanderers has etched its name in South American football history, claiming the Copa Libertadores Sub 20 title after a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Flamengo on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

The Chilean side and the Brazilian giants battled to a 1-1 draw at Estadio Banco Guayaquil in Quito, Ecuador, before Wanderers prevailed 5-4 in the decisive penalty kicks.
